Smart, Compact, Decent Piece of Kit. When i opened this i couldn't believe it. I did order it of course, but had seen the same product for nearly twice this in debenhams window early that day. The base is not actual metal but looks the part and for 50 quid, i wasn't expecting it to be metal. The slicers/graters and chopper fit nicely in the bottom drawer, so you don't slice off your hand trying to find them in a drawer/cupboard or have to play tetris trying to put them all in the bowel. It works very well, i've grated with it so far, no mixing yet - salads/dieting :( , i can see this doing very well. I used to have a great moulinex one bought for our wedding present. It was spot on, massive and had 20 thousand bits and pieces which took up half my kitchen - that lasted 10 years, i'll keep you posted on various functions/lasting ability. P. S i put the bits in the dishwasher to give them their "first wash" and they look great on it!.
